Which age is suitable for learning?

Be an ardent Learner

suitable age for learning
There is no age limit for learning

Talent and luck might happen to you by chance, but learning is a skill and practice that anyone can accomplish with diligence.

Most of the people are eager to learn something new. A child has a lot of potentialities when he/she was born in the world. Honestly, we may say that the child is illiterate. As soon as delivered the child starts to learn to suck milk. Day by day the child learns millions of tricks and ideas. Later, the child will be eminent in schooling, graduation, jobs, marriage, parenting, responsibility, social awareness so on.

Here is the question: Is anyone stops learning. Of course, No.  As a human being, everyone is learning till the death in somewhat. Ultimately, we can say anyone can learn at any age. A recent survey of the council of graduate schools says that the average graduate student today is 33 years old. Moreover, the students doing doctoral programs are a bit older.

In 2017, a 14-year-old Carson Huey boy finished college as university’s youngest graduate. He graduated high school at the age of 10 and started university at Texas Christian University at 11 and he received a bachelor’s degree in physics as a teen. His mother believed earlier that he was gifted because he wanted to do calculus at 3. Perhaps he was gifted, but there has a passion to learn at his younger age.

In 2012, Allan Stewart at age of 97 showed that it’s never too late to learn. He graduated from a university in Lismore, Australia with a Master’s degree in Clinical sciences. He was awarded as the world’s oldest graduate second time. Former, Stewart earned a listing in the Guinness World Record for completing a law degree at the age of 91. The masters which Stewart received from Southern Cross University is his fourth degree. Definitely, his passion for learning more than one degree at a later age shows that he is still young as an ardent learner.

Moreover, a Californian woman received a college diploma in art history at age 94. And 96 year-old Alfonso Gonzales graduated from college in 2016. Astonishingly, he came to the dais for receiving the degree in a wheelchair. That is confident of Alfonso. Really, it impressed and motivated the young learners. The achievement can be possessed at any age.

Therefore, there is no age limit to learn. Everyone can learn at any stage. Learning is not a completed process. It is an ongoing process.

However, the learner should be ardent to learn. Learn something new every day. It may be any kind of learning. Never stop learning.

A learner can through any medium, such as newspaper, book, internet etc. Nowadays, everything is at hand for a learner to learn. There is only one important factor. That is the passion which a learner should have.
