Anyone who can have a child is called “a parent”. 'A real parent" is someone who puts that child above their own selfish and wants."

The above quotation about parents has been seen here and there. Here the question is Can only a biological parent be a real parent? Then, who is a biological parent? According to a dictionary meaning, “One of a child's natural parents, either the male who supplied the sperm or the female who supplied the egg which interacted for the child's conception.”

However, many children are being taken care of by someone else other than their biological parents. It may be grant parents, step-parents, one of the relatives, child caretaker, matron, sometimes teachers.

Who is really a real parent? A real parent is someone who gives real attention to the children, loves them, and takes care of them.

We can see a few people who are biological parents are not good parents at all. On the other hand, most biological parents are much better for their kids than their stepparents or someone else. However, a real parent can be anyone, sometimes even step-parents.

It is true even though a child gets abundant care of someone other than the biological parent, the child longs to meet the biological parent.

“At the end of the day, the most overwhelming key to a child's success is the positive involvement of parents.” - Jane D. Hull

A child needs the positive involvement of parents for their success. Nowadays, parents are busy with their job, business, sometimes crawling on social media and the internet. Hence, parents may forget to give priority to their children’s development.

On the other hand, some parents show overprotection, pampering on their children. However, it won’t last for a long time. When the children become adolescent they hate overprotection and pampering. The real parent is 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year commitment.

The reason children accept discipline from their parents is that they know their parents love them.” -
Nipsey Hussle

As the children are learning discipline from the parents, the parents should be ready to shower their unconditional love.

We know that a parent’s love for their child is unconditional. When the children reach adult age it definitely helps the child to mentor as a good citizen in the society.

Of course, there is no other toughest job on earth, other than raising a family. Although, parenting is challengeable, whether biological parents or stepparents should love the children who deserve it.
