Should children be rebuked by their parents?

Children should be rebuked by their parents
“It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men.”
                                            - Frederick Douglass

Definitely, the above-said quote of Frederic Douglass is apt to parents.
Parents should rebuke their children when seeing the mistakes.

Children are pure land to cultivate valuable crops. There is no doubt that the primary responsibility of parents is taking a substantial part to build strong children in this society. To build strong children, the correction measure is vital.

Parents have to guide and mentor children with abundant love. Here, the question is what problems the parents face when they rebuke the children when seeing the mistakes.

Most of the parents are afraid to rebuke children for their behavioural mistakes. Children spend more hours a day in school or somewhere else than at home. The parents are keen on children’s education and other training. Of course, parents should love their children. At the same time, they should rebuke their children to show their dissatisfaction with their children's behaviour.

However, if parents always defend their children’s mistakes, one day they will hire a lawyer to defend their children’s mistakes. As a coin has two sides the parents should love their children as well as should be ready to rebuke for their children's mistakes. Importantly, the parents should be aware to not become the reprimand for abuse.

Moreover, there is a limitation to rebuke the children. Parents shall not give corporal punishment to their children. If the parents give physical punishment which gives physical pain, children's behaviour might be changed to angry, envious and hatreds.

Summarizing, pampering children always and neglecting mistakes will cause a serious problem in future. Therefore parents should be ready to rebuke their children positively.
